Shashankasan (Rabit pose)
     Shashank means rabbit, which is a very peaceful and soft creature. The shape of this asana is like a rabbit. Another meaning of the word is moon; the posture provides coolness like a moon, sub siding anger.
 
1.
Sit in vajrasana on your toes. Rest hands on thighs.
  
 
1.
While inhaling, raise hands over the head towards the sky.
2.
While exhaling, bend forward touching the hands and forehead to the floor.
3.
Retain this position.
4.
Breathe normally.
5.
Repeat.
  
 
  One Minute to three minutes.
   
 
1.
This posture makes high blood pressure normal.
2.
It calms anger and maintains peace.
3.
It strengthens the muscles of the legs, thighs and spine.
